PSIS Semarang dijadwalkan menjamu Persebaya Surabaya pada pekan ke-10 Liga 1 Indonesia di Stadion Kapten I Wayan Dipta, Gianyar, Bali, Sabtu (2/11) pukul 15.30 WIB.
Dikutip dari laman resmi Liga Indonesia, Rabu, kepastian ini sesuai dengan circular penyesuaian venue yang dikeluarkan PT Liga Indonesia baru (LIB) selaku operator kompetisi yang ditandatangani oleh Direktur Operasional, Asep Saputra tertanggal 29 Oktober 2024.
Ketua Panitia Pelaksana (Panpel) PSIS Semarang Agung Buwono menjelaskan bahwa Mahesa Jenar belum bisa menggunakan Stadion Jatidiri Semarang karena masih ada perbaikan.
“Stadion Jatidiri belum bisa dipakai karena masih ada perbaikan rumput,” jelas Agung Buwono.
Diketahui menurut surat dari Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) tertanggal 15 Oktober 2024 dengan nomor CK0404-CB14/1174-3, renovasi Stadion Jatidiri saat ini belum selesai dan baru mencapai 97,61 persen.
Beberapa pekerjaan masih harus diselesaikan untuk memenuhi standar FIFA. Pekerjaan yang masih berlangsung meliputi penambahan toilet untuk fasilitas penonton, penyediaan ruang VAR, serta penanganan rumput agar tumbuh dengan baik sesuai standar teknis lapangan sepak bola.
Dalam surat tersebut juga disebutkan bahwa akibat dari penyempurnaan stadion, waktu pelaksanaan pekerjaan yang semula dijadwalkan berakhir pada 16 Oktober 2024 diundur hingga 15 Desember 2024. Selama proses renovasi, stadion tidak dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan apapun.
“Upaya bermain home dengan stadion alternatif ini dilakukan agar pertandingan antara PSIS dan Persebaya dapat berjalan sesuai jadwal dan tetap menjaga kenyamanan serta keamanan bagi para pemain,” terang Agung Buwono.
