Bank Indonesia (BI) menegaskan uang Rp 10.000 tahun emisi 2005 masih berlaku sebagai alat pembayaran yang sah di wilayah NKRI.
Marlison Hakim, Kepala Departemen Pengelolaan Uang Bank Indonesia (BI), menegaskan bank sentral menghimbau agar masyarakat tidak perlu ragu untuk menggunakan uang tersebut dalam kegiatan transaksi.
“Uang pecahan Rp10.000 yang masih berlaku adalah uang pecahan tahun emisi 2005, 2016, dan 2022,” ujarnya, dalam siaran pers, Jumat (4/10/2024).
Marlinson menegaskan BI menghimbau agar masyarakat tidak menolak transaksi dengan uang yang masih berlaku sebagai alat pembayaran.
“Sebagaimana ditegaskan dalam Pasal 23 UU Mata Uang No.7 Tahun 2011, disebutkan bahwa setiap orang dilarang menolak Rupiah yang digunakan dalam transaksi pembayaran di NKRI, kecuali apabila kita merasa ragu akan keaslian Rupiah tersebut,” paparnya.
